What I like best about BCHS
The community
Our educational team is committed to cultivating each student's academic potential and unique gifts.
The community
I love that everyone becomes family the moment they walk through our doors.
Students, teachers and culture
What I like best about Bishop Connolly High School is the strong sense of community you feel when you enter the building, as well as the willingness of everyone to work together and help each other out. Everyone is so welcoming, from the students to the staff. Bishop Connolly is a great community because it blends these things with the strong academics based in critical thinking skills and commitment to teaching the student as a whole person.
Teaching and coaching students in a calm, Christian atmosphere, and preparing them for college and beyond
Bishop Connolly’s dedication to providing students from working class backgrounds with a holistic education that emphasizes rigorous academic preparation and authentically Catholic spiritual formation
The emphasis on holistic learning and student-centered approach; the motto “not only hearers, but doers of the Word”
The welcoming community to work with—faculty and students who are ready and willing to learn and grow to their full potential.
The community
The people: students, faculty, support staff and all who walk through the doors of Bishop Connolly. It is the people who create the community and the environment.
I love the warm, friendly vibe the students and staff give to all that enter the door. I enjoy coming to a place where I can work and share my Christian faith.
Community
BCHS is a place where prayer is central to what we do. Prayer empowers us to be not only hearers, but doers of the Word.
The chance to work with creative and talented young people
Everyone is extremely supportive and willing to help.

The generosity of spirit I encounter every day in our students, faculty and staff
I have known many of our students and their families for years and enjoy watching all of our students grow, achieve their high school diplomas, and continue to work toward their life goals. I feel very blessed to be a part of this community, which really does feel like a family.
I love the spirit of community that is reflected in the students, faculty and staff of Bishop Connolly High School.
The students—great people
