Lauren Lloyd was named 8th best novice negative speaker out of a field of 78 total speakers.

Throughout the past 13 years, Bishop Connolly debate teams have earned 127 awards, two varsity championships, three varsity four-person team awards and two novice championships. These achievements never could have been accomplished without the hard work and dedication of each and every team member. Despite being a young and relatively inexperienced team, Connolly debaters persevered against some of the strongest competition in the 18-school league this season. The long hours spent in research and team members’ faithful attendance at practices are a testament to Connolly debaters’ work ethic. Their tenacity, skill and character have garnered the respect of fellow debaters, opposing coaches, and adult judges alike. Congratulations to Connolly Debate Team for a strong season!
