Connolly Theatre Innovates with a New Black-Box Format!!
The Connolly 2011-2012 Theatre Season will mix things up for its actors and its audiences with a new seating format. As opposed to its usual 800-seat proscenium theatre, both productions this season will be produced in a brand new 82-seat "black-box" theatre constructed on the stage especially for this year's shows. Audiences will enjoy an intimate 3-quarter thrust stage, meaning the audience sits on three sides of the action, seeing the play from several angles. Because of the limited seating, two extra performances have been added to the production weekend to accommodate our usual audiences. Still, seating will be limited and reservations recommended so get your tickets early!!
