Congratulations to the Bishop Connolly Debate Team who went 9-3 in the last regular season debate held at Somerset High School. After 8 rounds of debate and with a record of 32-16, Bishop Connolly remains in 1st place in the entire 11-team league.

Congratulations to the Connolly Varsity Negative A team of Zach Boutin and Peter Menard who remain one of 3 undefeated negative teams in the league. At the league finals, they will vie for the coveted best 2-person negative team trophy and a chance to face the Connolly A affirmative team in the Round 10 grand finale.

Congratulations also to Jasiel Correia, Evan Catudal, Selic Borden, and Katie Tighe for winning all of their matches yesterday. The team also salutes Patricia Arruda, Mackenzie Rogers, Scott Cote, Nicole Rebelo, William Richtmyer, Alex Marceau, and Mary Cullen for their victories last night. The entire student body should be proud of its debate team for keeping the tradition of excellence and success alive and well at Connolly.
