| During the 2006/2007
school year, the Bishop Connolly Sports Boosters Club accomplished
the following projects for the student-athletes at Bishop
Connolly:
- Purchased a defibrillator for the Athletic Department
- Purchased 3 gymnastics mats for the cheerleading squad.
- Purchased Boys and Girls Basketball practice jerseys.
- Purchased new Lacrosse goals and nets.
- Painted the boys locker room.
- Constructed new Softball & Baseball dugouts.
- Hydro-seeded baseball field
- Purchased a new scorer's table for the Soccer &
Lacrosse teams.
Projects currently in the works include:
- New Championship Banners for the gym.
- Washer & Dryer for the Athletic Department
- Sponsorship of an Award for the Annual Sports Banquet.
The Booster Club would like to thank Sherry Corporation and
Alan Nunes Construction for donating the site work for the
new dugouts for the baseball and softball dugouts. This valuable
project would not be a reality without their commitment to
making Bishop Connolly a better place for our students. Many
