| Did
you know that Bishop Connolly is organizing a group of alums
to represent you — the Bishop Connolly High School alumni
body, in efforts to provide help, advice and support, to the
development/alumni office? The council will also “brainstorms”
ways to encourage and provide continued relationships with
the school and other alumni. Members will be involved with
one of the workgroups listed below.
Linda
Camara,’83, has stepped forward and graciously accepted
the title of Alumni Advisory Committee Chair and will be looking
for other interested alumni from all classes to come forward!
Please let her know of your interest through the Development
& Alumni Office:
|
- Alumni
Admissions - Focus
on admission programs and initiatives to involve alumni
in the student recruitment process.
- Alumni
Communication and Technology - Focus on the various
ways of communicating with alumni with special emphasis
placed on electronic communication and integrated marketing.
- Alumni
Program and Events - Focus on alumni involvement
in on-campus and regional events.
- Career
Services - Focus on current alumni mentoring and
internship development programs.
|
| What’s
the plan?
- AAC
(Alumni Advisory Committee) members will help with activities
at homecoming, make calls to admission recruits, encourage
alums to join the alumni community and support the efforts
of marketing and media relations.
- This
is where you can help us achieve our goals. We aren’t
able to improve our communications with you if we don’t
know where to reach you. Keep Connolly updated on your contact
information by downloading the information form.
- Interested
in career networking? Looking for a new career? Let us know
and benefit from the experience of other alums.
- Attend
alumni events
in your area and return to campus for Homecoming. Invite
old friends and even find some lost ones through the alumni
community.
- Let
the admission
office know about your high school babysitter,
niece, neighbor or grandchild so they can be included in
future mailings.
